About Anna
I believe that everyone should be able to speak another language to a level where they could converse with a native. It’s a wonderful skill and it feels great to have a hobby which is good for my brain. I’ve always wanted to teach as I feel my approach would be enjoyable and aimed at making this subject as enjoyable to others as I find it.

I wasn’t confident in my linguistic capabilities until I reached the first year of GCSEs, I would say this is because I was never taught languages in a logical way up until that point. Once I began memorising key irregular verbs and tense endings, everything seemed to fall into place. I believe consuming contemporary, and older, french media is the most efficient way to build your vocabulary in an entertaining and enriching way. My love and level of french wouldn’t be as high if J hadon’t started listening to artists such as Serge Gainsbourg and Françoise Hardy. I believe listening and reading lyrics to modern french rap music would be a great way to privately study as it builds colloquial and formal french vocabulary in a more interesting way than a vocabulary booklet for example.
