About Lucy
Learning French is like opening a window to a whole new world—and I’ve been guiding students through that window for the past 8 years. I specialise in teaching school and college students, making sure each lesson is personalised, interactive, and enjoyable. My teaching blends traditional grammar and vocabulary with creative exercises, cultural insights, and practical conversation skills. I believe in learning by doing, so my students regularly engage in dialogues, role-playing, debates, and storytelling exercises. I also incorporate technology, games, and multimedia resources to keep lessons dynamic and relevant. My approach emphasises confidence-building and real-world application. Positivity ensures that students remain motivated, enjoy learning, and celebrate small achievements along the way. In addition to French, I include subjects that complement language learning such as literature, culture, grammar, and conversational skills in other languages. Lessons are designed to be interactive and immersive, with a mix of reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities. I aim to develop both academic proficiency and practical communication skills, creating learners who are confident, competent, and curious. My goal is to instil not only a love for French but also a mindset of continuous growth and self-improvement.
