I had the privilege of working closely with Dr. Jashodhara Sen during my time as a student at the University of Florida, and I can confidently say that she is an expert in her field who consistently goes above and beyond for her students. Dr. Sen doesn’t just teach; she invests herself in your success, challenging you in ways that foster growth while maintaining an encouraging, supportive environment.

Throughout our time together, Dr. Sen helped me identify my strengths and potential career paths that I had never considered before. Her guidance played a pivotal role in shaping my academic and professional trajectory, especially when I was unsure of my next steps. Thanks to her advice and recommendation, I was able to transition from being an undergraduate student to a graduate student with remarkable opportunities, including four regional theatre conference acceptances and attendance, as well as acceptance into the Columbia GSAS SR-EIP program. These experiences would not have been possible without her mentorship and belief in my potential.
