About Melody
I have a BA in Secondary Education and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading. Sixteen years of experience teaching high school and three plus teaching and/or tutoring from home. All home tutoring students were from the K-8 grade level.

I give students a pre-test to determine Lexile Levels and create an individualized program of instruction using phonics, Ortin-Gillingham, Fountas and Pinnell, and other proven systems of reading acquisition, such as Read180, The Six Minute Solution, and more as needed.
