About Gemma
I have experience in tutoring individuals from KS1 through to GCSE level in both Maths and English having worked in a tuition centre for over a year. I have also privately tutored in SATs and GCSE Mathematics. I spent a year volunteering in a KS4 Mathematics class and had the opportunity to teach lessons.

I teach to students up to A Level and I have a thorough understanding of all levels up to this. I prefer to work flexibly with my students, understanding their learning style and planning my lessons around that. Often I will do guided examples and then encourage independent work before marking the students' work collaboratively. I find it important for the student to set their own goals which we can work to and it has proven effective with past students.
