I am a passionate teacher of 8 years who still works full time. I love working 1 to 1 with children and seeing that "light bulb moment" when it all clicks into place. I want to become a tutor so I have more opportunities to spend 1 on 1 time with students and see that progress.

My lessons will be clear and engaging, making sure to take time to explain everything until the student is confident before moving on (something that doesn't always happen in the classroom).
I have lots of experience working with children with lots of different needs and abilities and can adapt teaching style to suit them.
I also want lessons to be fun! As teachers, we want to encourage lifelong learners and that can only happen through developing curiosity and interest.
I am happy to tutor anyone from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, however I have more experience working with Key Stage 2 children (Years 3-6).
For this age group, I would recommend lesson times of 1 to 2 hours, however you know your child best and am willing to discuss.
