About Taha
I’m Mr. Rahat, and I’m your Science teacher — specialising in Physics. Before becoming a teacher, I studied mechanical engineering, so I’ve always been passionate about how things work, from machines and forces to energy and the universe. I chose to become a teacher because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand the world around them. There's something amazing about seeing that “lightbulb moment” when a tricky concept suddenly makes sense. I want to make science feel exciting, relevant, and something you feel confident exploring — no matter where you're starting from. With 1000+ teaching hours, I know how to make lessons personalised and more integrated in your routines. I’m a qualified Science (Physics) teacher with QTS and a background in mechanical engineering, bringing a mix of real-world experience and a genuine love for teaching. I’ve taught students from Year 7 all the way up to A-level Physics at Hereford Sixth Form College, adapting my approach to suit different ages, abilities, and exam boards like AQA and OCR. My lessons are structured but flexible — I use quick quizzes, interactive tasks, and regular check-ins to keep students engaged and on track. I focus on building a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and tackling challenging topics. If something doesn’t click, I adjust on the spot and work with them to bridge the gaps. For me, it’s all about making science accessible, engaging, and something students can genuinely enjoy.

Perfect! Taha has given my year 3 son tuition in Maths. My son is a boisterous and energetic boy who enjoys maths and needed to be challenged more. Taha has maintained a rapport with my son and held his engagement for the duration of the lesson. My son looks forward to his lessons and is learning many things from his tutor. Taha plans and prepares lessons for my son and sets him homework. I would recommend him.

I like Mr Rahat’s teaching style because he makes it relatable and fun. I didn’t like science and I still don’t but surely my grades have improved!
Mr Rahat taught me Physics and maths for me GCSE and I like his teaching style. He gives fun examples which helps me stay connected given my educational needs.
I highly recommend Taha as a brilliant mathematics tutor. His ability to simplify complex concepts, adapt to individual learning needs and give his students confidence at their lowest is truly commendable.
