About Joe
My 15 years of experience have shown me that any student can master a so-called "difficult" subject; as long as they are committed and honest, and they are given the helping hand and the fair opportunity they need.
I can be that helping hand: explaining complex concepts, strengthening your understanding, testing your progress, and showing you the real-life applications of different scientific fields.

I have worked with students ranging in age from 9 to young adults, with most of my experience being at mid to late high school level.
I have native fluency in both Afrikaans and English.
I approach my lessons with compassion and empathy, fully understanding that the student might be struggling very badly with the subject - because I was a struggling student myself, once. I aim for meaningful learning, where students can link new content to what they already know as well as to their real-life experiences.
My speciality lies with struggling students, but I am also very comfortable with strong students. Whether you want your fail to become a pass, or your 70-80 to become an 80-90, I'm equally skilled at tackling your needs.
