I am a qualified teacher with a special focus on one-on-one lessons. I have a background in psychology and often help learners to manage assessment anxiety, work on study skills and implement time management tactics.
I have refined my teaching skills through more than 5 years of tutoring.

I base each lesson around the daily need of the child. Some days this means repetition of content and completing many practice problems. Other days, this approach will shift to making summaries or working on study methods.
Depending on the needs of the student, I may also use active listening skills to unravel how they feel about a subject and where the focus of the lesson should be directed to.
