About Katie
I chose to become a teacher because I love English and history. I wanted to spread this love to other students as people can view these subjects as too content-heavy and difficult. So, I wanted to highlight that there is something for everyone in both of these subjects. Moreover, I wanted to promote people's confidence and help them develop skills that will allow them to achieve their full potential. Schooling is such a pivotal moment in someone's life and I want to help in any way I can.

My lesson approach focuses on building upon the students' strengths and targeting areas that could be improved. The lessons are designed to promote the students' developing questions about the content and developing their own answers. Students will receive relevant resources and develop their own to ensure active learning. My lessons are catered for anyone in the post-primary school cycle.
