About Kiran
Hello! My name is Kiran and I currently work as an English teacher in a secondary school. I am committed to ensuring students are well equipped for their GCSE’s, as well as life after this.
I work, and have worked, with a number of students who each have different learning styles - be it visual or didactic. So, for me, understanding your learning style is vital for me to be able to offer outstanding teaching and tutoring for you.

I am happy to assist in both challenging Grade 7/8/9 students and motivating Grade 2/3 students.
Current GCSE Literature texts I am able to teach are: Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls and the Power and Conflict anthology.
In respect to KS3, I have taught the following Shakespeare texts: The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night Dream and Romeo and Juliet. Additionally, at a KS3 level, I am able to teach: detective fiction, Gothic poetry, war poetry, Of Mice and Men and romance/relationship poetry.
For students interested in English Language at A Level, I can teach introductory lessons on language acquisition and basic linguistic features.
