About James
I'm a qualified secondary teacher with a Bachelor of Secondary Education (with Distinction), a Master of Liberal Arts and a Master of Educational Leadership. I believe math teaches students to think clearly and reason honestly, skills that carry well beyond the classroom. My aim is for every student to become confident in math and capable in life.

Every student starts with a free first lesson and learning assessment. From there I write a clear plan for the term, so you know exactly what we're working on and why.
Lessons focus on understanding, not just memorised steps. We work through the reasoning behind each method, practise until it's secure, and build exam technique steadily, never cramming.
Students learn from me every week and can send questions between lessons.
I keep parents informed throughout, with regular updates on progress and what comes next. If a lesson is missed, it's credited to the next one and the worked notes are sent over.
Lesson length: 90 minutes for Years 7–10 and 120 minutes for HSC. Available weekdays 5pm–7pm and weekends 9am–5pm.
