About Aliette
I am a newly qualified Secondary English teacher with a burning passion for English as a general subject. As a Trainee Teacher I had the privilege of visiting several schools and experienced the varied ways in which different schools approach teaching English. This makes me highly adaptable to your schools’ expectations and your needs within the English Subject. As a dyslexic person who went through British education and university, I was highly interested in teaching for neurodivergences and aiding students who struggled with the subject. Most of my research during my teaching degree was dedicated to cutting edge techniques to support students in need. Techniques I am excited to use during tutoring.

I believe in personalisation above all. Each school has its own approach to material and it is important to give students tools that they can utilise in their classes and exams that won't confuse or overwhelm them. Instead I aim to improve on their existing knowledge and strengths to create incredible English students. I have a PGCE in Secondary English and have spent a year teaching in different secondary schools. This includes planning and teaching students with a wide variety of strengths and weaknesses when it comes to English. My lessons are for students aged 11 to 16 however adults who are resitting GCSE or just want to study literature for fun are welcome.
