About Megan
My name is Megan, and I am a qualified UK Primary School Teacher with experience teaching and supporting children across KS1 and KS2.
I am passionate about helping children develop confidence in their learning and believe that progress happens best when children feel supported, understood and encouraged. I take a calm, patient and structured approach to teaching, adapting my methods to suit each child’s needs and learning style.
I have experience working with children of varying abilities, including those who need extra support with confidence, focus or understanding. I place a strong emphasis on clear explanations, positive reinforcement and building strong foundations in both English and Maths.
I am professional, reliable and well organised, and I take pride in providing high-quality, personalised tuition that aligns with the UK National Curriculum. My aim is not only to support academic progress, but also to help children feel more confident and capable in their learning.

I support phonics, reading fluency, comprehension, spelling and writing. I use practical strategies such as guided reading, modelling, questioning and short focused tasks to build understanding and confidence.
A typical lesson lasts 45–60 minutes, depending on the child’s age, attention span and needs. Sessions usually include a short recap, focused teaching, guided practice and time to reinforce learning.
My lessons are suitable for, KS1 and Lower KS2 pupils particularly children who need extra support, confidence-building or personalised 1:1 tuition.
