About Amy
I am a qualified Maths teacher working in a small independent school in Yorkshire. I am used to teaching both GCSE and A-Level Mathematics courses and can effectively guide students through the curriculum. The students I have taught in class have gone on to succeed in their exams.

My method of teaching is all around building the student's confidence. It is important for me to start off by getting to know the strengths and weaknessses of the student (usually through low stakes assessment) and then tailoring the lessons around each individual student. I keep up to date with the latest research on Mathematical pedagogy and I put a lot of thought into how to best explain the mathematical theory to my students.
