About Federico
Hey, my name is Freddy and I am a music tutor currently based in Liverpool!
I have been playing music regularly since I was 14, having achieved a BA (Hons) in Popular Music with a focus on Performance and Producing from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in 2015. I specialize in Bass Guitar and electric/acoustic Guitar, having played these in various bands and ensembles for many years. I am a professional musician, regularly performing with various covers and function bands, touring the country/Europe with one of my original projects Novacrow and with tribute band Famous Monsters, amongst other session work.
As well as music performance, I also write music for a lot of the original projects I'm involved in and have been releasing my own music under various names throughout the years.
I'm also an experienced music producer, mainly producing rock-based music and bands. Throughout the years I have worked with many bands as a producer and/or sound engineer, roles ranging from recording engineer, editing, mixing, mastering, and any combination of these.

Music is a very subjective subject and everyone has a different approach to learning, depending on their needs. I like to cater each lesson to your specific needs and base my lessons around what YOU want to learn and what you need to thrive as a musician!
In my lessons I can cover topics such as

Weather you're a beginner trying to learn to play your first chord, an intermediate player looking to break unhelpful habits, or a more advanced player trying to perfect a specific technique, I can guide you through the process and give you specific exercises to help you improve whatever technique you're trying to learn - from slap bass to sweep picking and anything in between!
> Theory
I can offer theory lessons for those who want to learn more about music theory - from complete beginners to more advanced theory
> Learning Songs
Whilst nothing beats exercising every day, some people find it more engaging to play along to their favourite songs. We can go through existing songs in our lessons to really understand how your favourite musicians nail specific tones and what makes their music work for you!

If you have any upcoming exams, we can cover all the topics in these lessons and I can even create bespoke exercises to help you practice in advance.
