About Alina
Hi, I’m a qualified English teacher with several years of experience, currently teaching students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. My knowledge of the curriculum is always up to date, and I’ve taught a wide range of texts including A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Romeo and Juliet, The Bone Sparrow and Of Mice and Men, as well as a variety of poetry. I love bringing English to life through creative writing, letter writing, poetry analysis, and building strong skills in formal and exam-style writing. I also help students prepare confidently for their GCSE exams by breaking down tricky concepts, exploring deeper meanings in texts, and encouraging them to find their own voice in their writing. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and designed to make learning English feel enjoyable and rewarding.
