About Maria
I have been working with students of all ages for over 20 years, and I have a passion for English and helping my students achieve their academic goals. My classes are comprehensive yet fun, and I have successfully assisted many students over my teaching and tutoring career. I also teach Legal Studies, Psychology and Sociology as well as helping University students with their work.

Generally, classes go for an hour a week, unless there are SACS or tests coming up; in this case, more hours can be added. I am familiar with all the current English texts and requirements. I try to make classes student centered and fun and ensure that all my students have a firm grasp of the material they are working with. I am a qualified P-12 teacher and have had over 20 years of experience in teaching and tutoring. I also help tertiary students with their writing when they require it.
