About Alessandra
I have over 10 years of experience, knowledge and qualifications within the education, management and public relations sectors, which has given me a very comprehensive range of skills. These skills have been developed over various successful jobs, from teaching adults, young learners and reformatory teenagers in the UK, to teaching under graduates at Cagliari University in Italy.
Since 2013 I have been teaching as an EFL teacher in many private and public colleges as well as universities all over the UK.
In 2013 I completed a BA in English Language and Linguistics whilst working as a student tutor and assistant in the Italian and English Head Department of my university.
In 2018 I completed the MA TESOL.
My latest experience at Xiamen University in China, taught me even more about second language acquisition and I realised how my knowledge has been rather beneficial for my students.
Moreover, being a bilingual teacher helped me greatly during my career as EFL teacher for I understand the struggle and all the difficulties a foreign student can go through.
Furthermore, I currently speak four languages and this truly helped me to understand linguistic problems that students can experience when learning English as a L2.

In my live I have learnt 6 different language so far, some of them were very difficult and sometimes I wanted to give up on them; however, I never did and I have always tried my best. Therefore I do know the struggle when it is about learning a second language.
I have been teaching EFL for many years to students from very different country and language background. My method is a very positive and kind approach, i like to make sure that the student/s feel/s safe in the class with me. I take into account the student's first language as well and I study very hard to understand the problems that he/they will have to overcome.
I have been teaching young learners and adults; however, I am specialised in University students and IELTS preparation exams.
If you are looking for the same boring method and very cold approach, then i am not the right teacher for you.
On the other hand, if you want to study in a very relaxed and nice environment, falling in love with the new language, then I am the right one for you!
