About Vanessa
I am a Foundation Phase Educator with extensive experience and a valuable skillset.
I graduated from the Natal Teachers Training College in 1985 and completed various educational courses. I have taught english and all foundation phase subjects at different levels in various primary schools.
My love for teaching and sharing valuable knowledge to young learners over the years has in turn taught me to be creative and adaptive in my teaching styles to suit individual learner's needs and personalities.
I believe in the importance of working in a professional manner, and at the same time being down to earth at the learners capability level. I also believe that as an educator, our profession has a responsibility to be good examples as role models to our learners in the quality of our conduct, language, values, and lesson presentations.

My lessons are fun, creative and motivating to encourage enthusiasm and learning progress.
I am proficient in English, and my unique style of teaching using engaging expression and interesting visual aids is effective for teaching and motivating my young learners.
My lessons are tailored to my learners needs and level of capability, as well as the use of relevant motivational material.
Each learner is given recognition as an individual, praised for their progress, and gently guided with a skillful teaching techinique at a pace comfortably manageable to each student . This is key to assisting and encouraging young students on their learning journey.
My lessons are aimed at young learners between 6 and 9 years old.
