About Hannah
I am an enthusiastic and positive tutor with a passion for building my students' understanding of mathematics and supporting them growing in confidence in the subject. From my experience as a teacher and a tutor, I believe that the key to effective tutoring sessions is cultivating a relaxed and stimulating environment where no question is a silly question and the tutor and tutee work together to understand and grow in confidence in mathematics.

I studied Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status specialising in Mathematics at university and since have had three years' teaching experience as a Primary School Teacher in Oxford. Here, I successfully taught many students and supported their progress in all subjects, including Mathematics. I now enjoy adapting my knowledge of the curriculum and teaching skills to tutor students, with experience of tutoring KS2, KS3 and GCSE mathematics.
I run my maths lessons using a range of written materials with worked examples and diagrams to illustrate mathematical concepts to support my students in mastering topics. I can personalise my lessons based on the requirements of the student, whether they need support on a specific mathematical topic or a curriculum appropriate to their age and needs.
