About Zoe
I have a passion for Mathematics, and in particular helping other people feel more confident and comfortable working with maths concepts. Teaching has always been more than just a job, it is a vocation I feel very strongly about. I particularly enjoy working 1-1 with students as it gives the opportunity to identify the misconceptions or struggles they are having and work to resolve them in a way the student understands. This involves a highly personalised approach where I find the teaching style that best works for that particular student. This includes students with a variety of SEN.

I provide a fully personalised Mathematics tutoring service, where I work with the student to identify areas of weakness and then use a range of approaches to help the student achieve understanding of mathematical concepts. A 1-1 approach allows the student to be fully supported at all stages, building their confidence so they feel more able to succeed in this subject.
I have extensive experience of teaching in secondary schools as well as working as an Examiner for a large UK exam board, marking exam papers. This gives me a deep understanding of what is required to pass external exams that I build into lessons.
