About Rizvan
I am an experienced teacher with a friendly approachable manner. I have been a classroom teacher for the past five years. I have a wide and varied background including in grammar schools. As a teacher I have ensured that all pupils in my classes made progress taking into account all their needs and abilities. I use a variety of different methods and techniques to make sure pupils develop understanding not just rote memorisation.

I am a qualified ex sixth form Maths and Science teacher with experience teaching in state grammar schools. I have now transitioned to a career in Software Engineering. My academic background is broad and rigorous. I completed a year of Aerospace engineering before deciding that my interests were in the Bio-sciences. I studied up to Masters level completing a research project in Cell Biology. As a student I enjoyed talking and communicating my interests with others. I've found Maths an important subject in developing reasoning and logical thinking skills which are vital to any path.

I have asked my daughter to write this recommendation - Mr Ali is very kind and will always help you if you get stuck. He always wants you to do well and makes sure he goes through things so that you understand.
I have only heard positive things about Mr Ali and and know that every maths lesson for my daughter was a positive experience.Rizvan really helped my daughter progress with her maths, which she has always struggled with. She is now much more confident and feels much more at ease with the subject!
Rizwan is a passionate educator. I wouldn't think twice before sending my little one to his class. Highly skilled in transmitting the idea to his students and very confident in what he delivers.
