About Fariza
My love for teaching comes from my privilege of having good teachers in high school, hence I understand the importance of having capable and approachable tutors. Students associate a subject to its teacher greatly! One of the reasons I love math (enough to major in it!) is that I was always taught the why’s, not only the how’s. This is something that I now religiously adhere to myself. I also encourage questions every step of the way. The more questions, the better! On top of that, I have had stellar grades all throughout high school and so far in university too!

I understand that not all students are the same! Everyone has individual needs that have to be understood, and catered to. I want to understand my students and their interests so I can ignite the passion in them further for those areas of interest. I believe I can tutor them as well as be a mentor and guide them! I set goals prior to lessons and have a policy of meeting them even if I have to go overtime. I make clean and organized notes during the lesson that I send to my students after. I am also available to help my students with their homework or any questions over text!

Perfect! She explains concepts in thorough and clear detail and is very patient, she will also go over anything you are unsure about until you understand, great tutor!

Fariza is very patient and extensive regarding her teaching methods. She takes time and will answer all your questions to make sure you fully grasp the topic. She helped me pass my Advanced Mathematics exams when I was in Grade 10 and helped me achieve a result I didn't think was possible.
