About Roscoe
I have always excelled at Maths at school, achieving A* Maths A-Level, A Further Maths A-Level, A* Maths GCSE, A* Statistics GCSE. I love using this experience to help students understand both chapters of curriculums, and how these ideas build and translate to 'real world' exam questions.
I have always found it interesting whenever I say I am a Maths tutor, or have studied maths to people, as their response is generally 'oh I was never good at maths'. I take a lot of joy out of improving current students' confidence with maths, and taking away the fear from what can be a great skill that can be used to help people throughout life.
I have experience as a Financial Trader, and Software Developer, and how Maths can give broad opportunities in the workplace. I have come back full circle to tutoring my first passion, Maths.

I have a pragmatic approach to what is required to achieve exam goals, blended with a genuine love of maths for the sake of maths. I firstly focus on gaps in core concepts and I love explaining how the 'tools' we have learnt across the course, are used at different times through past paper examples questions.
