About Rob
I've spent most of my life sailing around various parts of the world, and owned a sailing school for eight years, teaching a few thousand people how to sail and to navigate up to Ocean Sailor level. I've also taught kickboxing, and Karate to kids, so teaching is something I really enjoy. I've written four books (published one, called Caterpillar Seas) and am currently represent by the literary agency Pinder Lane & Garon Brookes in New York. I've always loved the English language, and am keen to help people learn it.

I believe learning should be fun, engaging and interesting. As much as it is necessary to learn the basics of a language, it is also important to maintain an enthusiasm to learn. And that is up to me, the teacher, to maintain, by introducing games, interesting projects, competitions etc. It is also important, for the same reasons, to connect with the students, understand their reasons for wanting to learn, and adapt to their needs and desires.

Details
My rates will be the same at all levels. One cancellation per week is free. For another if it is within a one hour period from the time of the lesson I will charge a cancellation fee of 50%
