About John
I have been a professional, working comedian since the age of seventeen. In that time I have won many awards both for my stand-up as well as my writing. While I have taken a non-traditional route in my own career, it has made me the self-motivated self-starter that being a great tutor requires. I have been published four times in the past five years in addition to several ghost written published works, and am currently in the process of writing my third novel.

My lessons will be tailored to your specific needs. If you're just dipping your toes into creative writing, we will begin with some simple writing exercises to assess your needs and will have you finding your voice in fiction in no time.
If you need help with reports or reading analysis, we will discuss the literature together to find the best angle for your writing with the highest chance of an A+.
It takes more work to devise a different strategy for each student, but it's worth the time to me to make sure you succeed. Not everyone operates or thinks in the same way, and identifying the best way to teach you is my pleasure.
