About Tayah
I am a senior psychology student at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have over five years of experience working alongside teachers of Kindergarten to sixth grade. I LOVE to read and write and want to make sure all of my students feel the same way.

My teaching method using contains real-world associations that relate to each lesson plan. I excel with creating outlines for creative writing, argumentative writing, and persuasive writing.
A typical lesson plan would have the objectives of: identifying the verbs and nouns in the correct tense of the sentences and transitioning sentences through a paragraph. The start of the lesson would be with a small session on what noun/verb sentences look like and transition words. Then the learner would be able to give examples based on specific prompts. The rest of the allotted time would be to critique and re-explain if needed.
I have experience working with many elementary to middle school aged children in learning how to write sentences using correct grammar and spelling, and I love to learn different ways that help each and every student learn the best that they can. I also have specific experience with individuals with learning disabilities and neurodivergence.
