About Christina
I am an undergraduate bilingual university student. I tutored VCE psychology for year 12 students last year and have been tutoring young children Mandarin since this year. My students gained confidence in themselves through me and learned lifelong skills of how to study effectively rather than just acquiring the knowledge.

I focus not only on delivery what I should, that is, the knowledge and content of the subject, in this case, Mandarin, but also teach students how to study effectively as this is a skill that would benefit them throughout their future studying too. I have tutored students from age 6 to age 18, but I don't have a preferred age group. I usually decide my teaching methods based on students' situation, their language weakness, personality and strengths. Although there can be some variation in terms on teaching methods, when it comes to language, there are also common ways that would benefit anyone. For example, practice is the key to learning language.
