I'm experienced in ABA and pride myself on being a patient teacher and being able to meet learners where they're at. I adjust my teaching methods based on individual needs. Everybody learns differently and I have learned to edit the way I teach based on the type of learner I am working with. Typically I work with students who are in middle school and high school, although I am experienced with elementary and college level tutoring as well.
I teach lessons primarily for those who need assistance in the subject English. Lesson plans used are based on what area of assistance you are looking for. My areas of expertise include building skills in reading, spelling, grammar, and even creative writing. I can assist with essays by proofreading, offering citation assistance, and helping to develop professional writing language. Also able to help teach effective study methods and test preparation.
