About Maryam
I'm a friendly and patient tutor who cares about students reaching their potential!
My career goal is to help individuals overcome mental health challenges that hinder their success in relationships, opportunities, and academics. I strive to create safe, inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued and heard. Although mental health awareness has advanced, I believe there's still room for growth, and I’m dedicated to being part of that change.
This passion drives my love for Psychology. With my undergraduate degree, continuous learning through psychology books and podcasts, and my upcoming Master's in Clinical Psychology, I’m eager to share my knowledge and experience with current Psychology students.

My tutoring technique is to first discuss the student's goals, such as improvement in a specific topic, how to approach essays, etc. This allows me to tailor my teaching plan to the student's needs. I ensure the student fully understands the content before teaching how to apply the knowledge to exam questions. My lessons are an hour but I'm open to making these shorter or longer if needed.
I received an A* in Psychology A-level and graduated from UCL with a BSc in Psychology.
My lessons are for GCSE and A-level students.
