About Aidan
I am a UCLA Psychobiology student with a strong academic background and hands-on experience supporting learners in both academic and real-world settings. I have worked with students on SAT preparation and have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, which has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to meet students where they are.
I take a structured and reliable approach to tutoring, showing up prepared, communicating clearly, and maintaining a positive, focused learning environment. My background in psychology helps me understand how students learn best, manage attention, and build confidence over time.
I am committed to helping students improve not just their grades, but their understanding and independence, while maintaining a professional and supportive experience throughout.

My tutoring approach is grounded in psychology—specifically how students learn, stay engaged, and build confidence. I break concepts into simple steps, use repetition and active recall, and adjust based on each student’s learning style to keep them focused and motivated.
A typical session starts with a quick review, followed by clear explanation of a concept, guided practice, and then independent work to reinforce understanding. I also emphasize positive reinforcement and structure to help students stay on track.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt in real time and connect with students, including those who may struggle with attention or confidence. I focus on building both skills and self-efficacy, not just getting correct answers.
