Damien has tutoring my son for a couple of weeks now and so far its been going well.
My son particularly likes that Damien is really patient with him and teaches at a pace that really helps him in areas he struggles with.

Our Son in year 7 got on instantly with Damien. Within 4 weeks there was an enthusiasm we had not observed with previous English tutors. Damien is very punctual and certainly knows what he is doing. He brings a lot of positive energy. There is a sense that some of his other aptitudes will be infused into the pupil- too early to tell

It's always a good sign when your child is eager to speak about their lessons after it has finished. I am delighted with the tutoring Damien has provided to both my children. My eldest loves English and so the tutoring was an opportunity to expand his creative writing abilities with someone who is now a published author. My youngest does not enjoy English and so Damien's work was cut out for him. Damien is extremely patient and talented at encouraging his pupils to engage with their work. Overall he has connected very well with my boys and I can highly recommend him.

Damien tutored my two boys over Zoom during the pandemic, and I was so impressed! Damien has a real passion for creative writing and so it naturally spills over to whoever he's teaching. He prepares well and has wonderful, interesting ideas for lessons. The kids were engaged for the entire session and they finish with good pieces of writing. Even my reluctant writer was happy when it was time to sit down for English with Damien, which really says it all! He is a natural with kids and a good teacher. I can highly recommend Damien.
