About Justine
I’m a professional violinist with over 20 years of experience. I’ve had the joy of playing with orchestras such as the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Elgin Symphony, Northbrook Symphony, and Peoria Symphony, as well as spending summers with the National Repertory Orchestra and the Chautauqua Music Festival Symphony Orchestra. Alongside performing, I’m passionate about sharing music through teaching and currently work with young musicians as a Teaching Artist in Apollo’s Fire’s Side by Side Program in Matteson, Illinois.

As a Suzuki-certified violin teacher, I’ve worked with students as young as four all the way up to conservatory level. Everyone learns differently, so my lesson plans are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. In our lessons, we’ll focus on building technique, musicianship, and healthy practice habits, all while keeping the experience enjoyable and encouraging.
