About Callia
My name is Callia, I'm originally from France, obtained a Master's degree in Geneva, and I'm now based in London. I have performed extensively as a soloist and with orchestras and chamber music groups across Europe. I won multiple prizes including the Marc Schwok Prize (2021) and the Maggy Breittmayer Prize (2023) for best recital as a classical violinist, as well as the Marion Bourgine Prize (2025) as a jazz violinist. In order to continue growing as a musician and teacher, I have participated in masterclasses led by world-class violinists, including Zakhar Bron, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Gábor Takács-Nagy and Raphaël Oleg. These experiences have had a profound influence on my approach and have enriched the skills I can offer young learners.

I'm passionate about helping others discover the joy of playing the violin, whether you're a complete beginner or a more advanced student. I strongly believe in the power of music to help people grow, express themselves and build confidence. I tailor my approach to each student’s needs and musical interests. My goal is to always create a safe, inclusive and supportive space where students feel heard and confident in their progress. I teach all styles of music, including classical, jazz, pop... My lessons are tailored to each student, focusing on musicality and technique, always in a supportive environment. If you’re motivated and curious about music, I’d love to work with you!
