About Eliscia
I have been a tutor on and off since I graduated High School. For the last 5 years, however, I have been just tutoring as my main form of income. I tutor up to 15 students twice a week for 1-2 hours. My most recent students test scores jumped from failing (below 25%) to passing ( 85% and up) in two sessions. I tutor all students LD included. I also have emergency sessions for those who have a course(class unit test) or standardized(SAT ACT...) test the next day.

The instruction I provide is based in understanding the concept and not memorizing the formula. I seek to help every student think through the problems and make the correct procedure decision. We are not calculators we are highly complex humans and humans can understand the "WHY" to a question. So, I explain why: Why is pie 3.14?; What is Natural e really?; and so much more. If you have ever completed a 3 point turn, you have already done Trigonometry and you didn't even know it. Let me show that Math is really just a language we use to communicate information about the physical world around us and everyone can do it. I am Dyslexic and if I can do it you can to.
