About Erica
I have more than 10 years teaching experience, from middle school through the undergraduate college level. I am currently a High School Television Production Teacher in Miami, Florida. As a Television Production Teacher, I teach students about all aspects of video production. My classes demonstrate how to plan a show, write scripts, record professional video, and edit with Adobe Premiere Pro. I also facilitate the TV Production after school club and manage all video projects for the school administration. I have a Master of Arts in Film and Digital Media from the University of Central Florida. My Florida Teaching Certificate is in the subject area of Journalism for grades 6-12.

My teaching methodology is based on learning while having fun. In my television production classes, I assign video projects for my students. They are able to write their own scripts, film their videos and edit their final video. They have a lot of fun expressing their creativity in their video projects. In my classes, students are learning valuable production skills while maintaining a fun, creative environment.
