About Supriyo
Supriyo Roy is an accomplished Tabla artist and educator from the Farukhabad Gharana, renowned for his refined artistry and rhythmic depth. A CCRT National Scholarship holder, he is presently pursuing his M.A. in Tabla at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth – School of Kalā Yoga, under the guidance of Dr. Atul Rao Saheb Kamble and Pandit Abhijit Banerjee. A First Class First graduate from Rabindra Bharati University, Supriyo is closely associated with the Dhwani Academy of Percussion Music, where he continues to teach and perform, upholding the rich legacy of Indian classical rhythm.
