About Christian
I'm Christian, a Berklee College of Music graduate with a degree in Electronic Production & Design, and over seven years of professional experience in music production alongside six years as a working DJ.
My background blends formal musical training with real-world, industry-level execution. I began studying trumpet in elementary school, earning multiple jazz and classical awards throughout middle and high school, before transitioning fully into electronic music at fifteen. Since 2015, Ableton Live has been my primary DAW, though I work fluently in Pro Tools and Logic as well.
I've worked on the production team of a world-renowned, Emmy-winning music agency, contributing to professional-level compositions and gaining first-hand insight into what separates amateur work from release-ready material. That experience shapes how I work and teach: efficiently, honestly, and with a focus on real results.
All private sessions take place at my studio in Los Angeles — a soundproofed, professionally treated space built around a Universal Audio Apollo X6, calibrated studio monitors, analog synthesizers, drum machines, and outboard gear. The DJ setup runs CDJ-3000s through an Allen & Heath Xone:96. This isn't a home setup. It's a working professional environment, and learning in it changes how you hear and approach music.
My work spans production, creative consultation, songwriting, and hands-on production assistance across house, techno, trance, experimental, R&B, and hip-hop. I help artists develop ideas, structure songs, finish records, and build professional workflow — including hybrid and analog hardware setups, signal flow, and sound character.
Beyond private sessions, I host Bad Habits, a monthly LA event drawing 400+ attendees, and I've served as a summer instructor for Berklee's Electronic Production & Design program, leading cohorts ages thirteen through their mid-twenties toward cohesive, professional-quality work.
If you're looking for casual lessons, I'm probably not the right fit. If you want real progress and a professional creative partner, we'll get along well.

Sessions take place in my soundproofed, professionally treated studio in Los Angeles — built around industry-grade tools including a Universal Audio Apollo X6, calibrated studio monitors, analog synthesizers, drum machines, outboard gear, and microphones. The DJ setup runs CDJ-3000s through an Allen & Heath Xone:96 — the same configuration you'll find in professional booths worldwide. You're not watching someone explain software on a laptop. You're working in the same kind of environment professionals actually use.
Every session is designed around where you are right now and where you're trying to get. The first session is an alignment call — we assess your current skill level, talk through your goals, and build a clear roadmap so everything after that has purpose. From there, sessions are structured and intentional but flexible enough to follow your growth without killing momentum or creativity.
Production sessions can cover Ableton, Logic, and Pro Tools, sound design and synthesis, arrangement and songwriting, mixing fundamentals, creative processing, and hybrid hardware workflow including analog signal flow and outboard integration. DJ sessions cover beatmatching, phrasing, track selection, transitions, set flow, energy control, crowd awareness, and performance mindset — practiced on the same gear you'll encounter at a professional level.
