About Charles
I am a saxophone tutor with 8 years of experience teaching college students. My mission is to make learning saxophone enjoyable and rewarding. I focus on combining strong technical skills with creativity and musical expression. Every student is different, so I design lessons that match your pace, interests, and goals.
I use practical teaching methods, including real-life examples from popular music, jazz, and classical pieces. Improvisation and rhythm exercises are key parts of my lessons, helping students gain confidence in performance and self-expression. I also integrate modern tools like recording apps and play-along tracks to make learning interactive and measurable.
