About Edward
I started coding from a young age. I performed well in both national and international competitions before beginning a degree in computer science. Since then, I have worked with JP Morgan and various start-ups. I also have experience advising tenured professors on developments in artificial intelligence and some of my work is now helping the NHS. I am currently the CTO and head of data science for my start-up. I began tutoring when I was taking my GCSEs. I love the little light in people's eyes when they understand a tough topic!

During our first lesson we will discuss your goals and design a training plan to help you achieve them. Programming is intimidating for beginners so we will start with basic examples and build up to where you want to be. Lessons will start with the introduction of a new concept and end with you being guided through an example application. I will provide work for you to complete in between sessions. You will send this to me and I will perform a code review. The next session will then begin with us going over this code review together.

I know Edward through some teachers at school. He was recommended to me as a tutor and I am very grateful for all the help he has given me. He is a very knowledgeable individual and has a talent in passing this knowledge on. When explaining different topics to me, he would always give examples, so the topics would stop being so obscure. All of the examples he gave me have stuck in my mind and I always think back to them. Overall, I am very happy with his services and would recommend them to anyone!
Edward and I have been friends since we met 5 years ago. When introduced to something new he always makes sure to develop a conceptual understanding of key ideas. Additionally between his successes in an academic setting and his startup, Edward has a strong background in theoretical and practical aspects of computer science.
In my opinion his desire to know what he learns very well, in addition to his vast knowledge base from the classroom and industry, are both critical to ensure that a student feels confident when learning something new.
