About Celeste
As a piano tutor with 6 years of experience, I focus on helping students explore the creative language of jazz. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Musicology (Piano History), which deepens my understanding of piano traditions and jazz harmony. My teaching centers on improvisation, comping techniques, and harmonic exploration.
Students develop a strong foundation in jazz theory and chord relationships. Lessons include ear training for complex chords, transcription exercises, and rhythm practice. These tools help students build confidence and musical awareness. Creativity and listening are encouraged in every session.
I have supported students from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate levels, along with Professional and Expert jazz musicians. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s goals and musical interests. Together we explore improvisation and expressive playing. Begin discovering the freedom of spontaneous musical expression.

My piano teaching style blends technique, creativity, and musical exploration. Students first learn essential piano skills like chords, scales, rhythm patterns, and musical phrasing. These fundamentals support the creative work that follows. I introduce songwriting techniques that help learners compose their own melodies and harmonies.
Lessons also cover building musical themes and designing intros and outros. Students explore chord progressions and learn how to organize their musical ideas clearly. Creativity is encouraged, but it is guided by strong musical structure. This helps students develop confidence in composing.
For learners who enjoy expressing emotions through music, I provide a calm and encouraging learning space. I also work with students who enjoy exploring rich harmonies and improvisational ideas inspired by jazz piano. Each lesson helps develop creativity and musical identity. Students learn to shape simple ideas into complete compositions. Over time their musical voice becomes stronger. With practice and dedication, you will create music that reflects your story.
