About Elin
With 10 years of experience as a piano instructor and performer, I’ve taught students of all ages and levels, from curious beginners to recital-ready musicians. My approach is structured yet intuitive, balancing discipline with inspiration. My musical training spans classical conservatory studies and contemporary piano performance, allowing me to adapt lessons to each learner’s goals. I encourage students to see the piano as both a discipline and a creative outlet — a way to express thoughts and emotions that words can’t capture. Outside of teaching, I compose short piano pieces and collaborate in local ensembles. What drives me most is seeing students find their voice through music — to witness that moment when sound becomes self-expression.

My piano lessons focus on developing both strong technique and expressive artistry, ensuring students grow as complete musicians. I begin with the fundamentals — hand posture, fingering patterns, rhythm, and sight-reading — while weaving in musical understanding from the first lesson. Each session builds coordination, ear training, and phrasing awareness to nurture a fluent, confident playing style.
As students advance, we explore diverse repertoire across classical, contemporary, and film music genres. I emphasize interpretation — teaching how dynamics, articulation, and timing transform notes into meaning. Learners also engage in composition and improvisation exercises that awaken creativity and deepen their connection to the instrument.
For performance preparation, I incorporate practice strategies, stage presence coaching, and guided mock recitals to help students perform with poise. My goal is to make piano playing not just technically correct, but emotionally alive.
