About Eira
I have been a pianist and educator for many years, performing in concerts, composing, and guiding students at all levels. Teaching piano allows me to share my passion for music and help students experience the emotional power and joy of playing. I find it rewarding to see students grow technically, expressively, and in confidence over time.
I approach teaching with patience, empathy, and adaptability. Each student has a unique learning style and musical personality, and I design lessons that foster their strengths while addressing challenges. I emphasize creativity alongside discipline, helping learners enjoy their progress and maintain motivation.
Outside of teaching, I continue to perform, collaborate with musicians, and study new repertoire. Bringing real-world experiences into lessons helps students understand music beyond the notes and charts. I aim to inspire lifelong musicianship and guide every student to discover their personal connection to the piano.

My piano lessons focus on creating a balanced approach that develops both technical skill and artistic expression. I emphasize posture, hand positioning, rhythm, and tone while also encouraging creativity and interpretation, helping students play with both accuracy and feeling. Each lesson is structured but flexible, designed to meet individual goals while keeping students motivated and inspired.
Beginners start with basic note reading, finger coordination, and simple melodies to establish foundational skills. Intermediate learners explore phrasing, dynamics, and expressive playing, while advanced students tackle complex repertoire, interpretation, and performance preparation. I integrate music theory, sight-reading, and ear training into every session, ensuring comprehensive development.
Lessons emphasize self-expression, emotional connection, and consistent progress. Students learn not just to play music accurately, but to understand, feel, and convey the story behind each piece. By combining structured practice with creative exploration, learners develop confidence, musical intuition, and a lifelong appreciation for piano.
