About Kasie Tiler
Kasie is a Charlotte based theater educator, performer and director. She holds a BFA in Musical Theater from The American Musical and Dramatics Academy and Master of Education in Educational Theater from The City College of New York. She is a proud alum of Leadership Charlotte Class 43.
Kasie has worked as a professional actor, director, vocal coach and choreographer throughout the northeastern United States. She has worked as a theater educator and director for 8 years. She currently teaches theater to grades 6-12 and is on the founding staff of Lumi School of Musical Theater
Her pedagogy focuses on culturally relevant theatrical practices and the mission that theater can be used to engage hearts and minds to make a greater impact on their world
