I am Fathy Ghonim, a professional Oud teacher with over 20 years of experience in Arabic music. I have a deep passion for sharing the beauty of the Oud and Arabic musical traditions. I am Fathy Ghonim, a professional Oud teacher with over 20 years of experience in Arabic music. I offer personalized online lessons tailored to each student’s level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced. In my classes, I teach correct hand techniques, Arabic maqamat, and improvisation (taqsim). Each lesson is typically one hour long, conducted via Zoom. My teaching methods focus on both technical precision and musical expression, ensuring a deep connection with the instrument.
