Throughout my educational and performance career, I have worked with a myriad of vocal coaches and music directors, all of whom had their own unique techniques and approaches to my training. However, even after years of vocal training for my Bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre, I still felt that I lacked a basic understanding of my voice and how to propel my abilities further--feeling I had reached a vocal plateau.

However, thanks to my lessons with Chauncey, my voice and my passion for singing have been reenergized. After only a few lessons, Chauncey has proven himself to be one of the most skilled vocal educators that I have ever encountered. His knowledge (and easy-to-understand explanations) of the mechanics/relationship between body and voice have helped me to expand and improve my vocal abilities since day one. Unlike other coaches, Chauncey always takes the time to explain his technique and walk me through the purpose of different vocal exercises, enhancing my understanding and making me an equal partner in my vocal success. Working with Chauncey has given me confidence in my vocal abilities that I haven't experienced with previous coaches.
