Hello!
My name is Mark Cooney, I am a professional musician and music educator and have been teaching and performing for over a decade. I offer approachable, fun, educational, and in-depth music lessons ranging from classical music, folk, traditional Irish. My goal is to have each of my students be able to walk away from each lesson inspired and that they come away enriched both with the joy and fun of playing music and their progress they make after each lesson. My qualifications include a Bachelor's in Oboe performance, an Artist Diploma in Orchestral Studies and an MA in Irish Music Studies.
