About Philip
I received my degree in Physics from Georgia Southern University where I was a pre-med physics major. While taking classes, I worked two part-time jobs one of which was as a tutor at the university's Academic Success Center. It was an exciting and high-paced environment where I polished my tutoring skills even more by helping up to five students, who may be working on different classes, simultaneously. After graduation, I worked as an independent contractor for Varsity Tutors (Rated 5 out of 5) and Tutor Doctor for multiple years further developing my craft. I took all the experience I gained and created my own company to bridge the gap between affordability and quality service.

Through my experience, I have discovered anyone can learn anything (even physics). The key is finding the learning style that works best, and filling the gaps in understanding that make the subjects stressful. I use my well-polished listening and communication skills to identify your best learning style while creating a calm, comfortable environment. I then use my mastery of the subject matter to put the information in terms easier to relate to thus filling the holes in your understanding. From my experience, I have noticed that creating an understanding has a far greater effect on your performance in school and grades than merely going over the subject matter for a test.

Perfect! Philip has been awesome! My daughter hadn't done physics before and she was in an advanced class DC physics. She was lost, her teacher racing through, she was failing. After the first session with Philip she was so excited! It finally made sense! She got 98% on her first test after she started tutoring! We couldn't be more satisfied. He's very accommodating for classes and has a great technique! Great investment!
