About Peter
Hello there! My name is Peter and I am a graduate who previously studied Economics at Masters level. Currently, I am a journalist working to distil big complex news stories for younger audiences on a national level. Throughout my studies, I've been interested in helping others and this has led me to becoming a tutor to make sure everyone gets the grades they deserve.
Before university, I studied 3 A-Levels, achieving an A grade in maths, politics and history, which led me to an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
I would make the perfect tutor because I'm very good at breaking down complex topics into easy to understand concepts. As a journalist, I'm also great at seeing something from another person's point of view, and then identifying what struggles they have academically. I am constantly talking to people like interviewing them on the street, so I know how to get on with someone.
I remember the stresses of going through exams, and I want to try and help students get the best while also remaining cool, calm and collected by not applying TOO much pressure on them, while also maintaining high standards.
